Evan’s career has spanned all aspects of the start-up ecosystem over seventeen years both as an investor and operator. He spent ten years as a direct investor, starting his career investing in growth-stage TMT companies before transitioning into venture capital, investing in pre-seed to Series A data-intensive enterprise applications and infrastructure companies. Evan then joined portfolio company in the enterprise knowledge graph space where he led finance and operations from seed through growth stage. After five years as an operator, Evan returned to the investment side focusing on deploying capital into venture capital, growth equity, and private equity funds as well as direct co-investments. He is a graduate of Washington and Lee University and lives in Arlington, Virginia.
